Renowned for her exceptional skills as a violinist, Jocelyn is celebrated across a spectrum of musical genres, encompassing roles as a concert soloist, chamber musician, and performer at both classical and pop concerts and events. Her extraordinary versatility has led her to collaborate with eminent pop figures, including JJ Lin, Olivia Ong, Angela Zhang, Richard Clayderman, and Il Divo, notably featuring in JJ Lin’s globally acclaimed “JJ20” tour.
Jocelyn’s talents have also been recognized by prestigious luxury brands, with collaborations including Rolls Royce, Chopard, and Tatler. In the realm of classical music, she is a sought-after artist for esteemed ensembles such as the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra and Re:Sound, as well as various semi-professional music groups. Her academic journey culminated in a Bachelor’s Degree in Music (with Honors) from the prestigious Royal College of Music in London, in partnership with NAFA School of Music, in 2018.
Her journey in music began early, marking her debut as a solo violinist at just 10 years old during the “Miss Singapore Chinatown 2005/2006” event. Her prodigious talent earned her opportunities to perform in Europe, including Germany, Switzerland, and Italy, in 2011.
Presently, as a full-time violinist with So Drama! Entertainment, Jocelyn excels as the first violin in the string quartet, gracing events for Singaporean government officials, national ceremonies, and significant events. In October 2023, she made her debut as a concert soloist, performing the “Butterfly Lovers Violin Concerto” with the Musicians’ Initiative. Jocelyn’s performances are enriched by the Giovanni Svarzi violin, circa 1898, kindly on loan from the Rin Collection.
