Joan is a keyboardist, saxophonist, songwriter, and educator
Joan is an artist, keyboardist, saxophonist, songwriter, and educator. She takes pride in being an Audio Technica artist and serves as a music instructor at Thunder Rock School and CYL Music Studio.
Her performing journey commenced in 2005, and she has since collaborated with various acts such as the progressive outfit Zero Sequence, the popular Singapore duo Jack and Rai, The Simon Yong Band, Raw Earth, DJs from Zouk SG, Heritage Singapore, Caracal, and more. Joan has also shared the stage with Uli Jon Roth (former Scorpions guitarist) and the YouTube sensation Grandma Rock, aka Grandma Mary.
In addition to her collaborations, Joan is a member of several bands, including KINGS, The Beatles Tribute band – The Day Trippers, Eagles’ Tribute Band – Johnny Come Lately, The Souls Singapore, The Countdown, and her very own horn trio – Jabacat.
